I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

We loved the Hofbrauhaus.  You can almost think that these people are putting you on when you visit it. The pretzels and beers are almost cartoonish in size (Matt's holding full liter mug).  There seemed to be a lively and happy spirit there any time you walked on by.

On some future visit, we'll make it a point to get reservations to a big shin-dig they do on some evenings, where they have a band playing, do drinking songs, and have a full Bavarian buffet.

And yes, we did let Matt drink beer over there.  And yes, he did have a good time doing it.  What the heck.  He'd just turned 16, making him legal there, and we're smart enough to know that he'll drink some day anyway.  May as well have his first time tipsy be with us there to guide him.  We found that he tends to talk a lot more!  He was startled to learn just how poor his coordination got.

The place could hold several hundred people, and everyone sat family style.  The food here, as with every other place we ate, was fantastic.

If you look at the close-up of the photo in the bottom right, check out the neat feather in they guy's hat.

The beer maidens would easily run around carrying 5-6 of the one liter beer mugs in each hand.  I wouldn't want to challenge any of them to an arm wrestling match.
