Europe 2005 - Main Page

If you want to just dive into seeing the pictures, use any of the links below.  I've grouped them into broad categories, and you'll see the same set of links appear down the left edge of each page.

For any picture you see, click on it to get a much larger, higher resolution one of the same thing.  Depending on your browser and its settings, that may or may not actually being at full size.  Some browsers automatically shrink it to fit the window you're viewing it in.  Either way, you'll need to use your browser's back button to return to the prior page.

England - Assorted
Big Ben
Piccadilly
The Eye
Tower of London
Westminster Abbey

France - Assorted
Arc de Triomphe
Eiffel Tower
The Louvre
Notre Dame
The Pantheon
The Seine
Versailles

Germany - Assorted
The Alps
The Hofbrauhaus
Mittenwald
Neuschwanstein
Ratskeller

The top (assorted) links in each category hold photos that didn't fit easily into any of the groupings below them.  Along the way, I've added random commentary, which may or may not be worth looking at.  Your mileage may vary.

Every once in a while, I've also added links to pages on the net.  If you're viewing a CD version of these pages, you'll need to have a net connection in order to follow them.  In some cases, I added links to that will do searches on terms related to the topic at hand.

It should be said that Tracy did a fantastic job making all of this happen.  She booked everything herself, and the plan came off without a hitch!  Click here if you'd like a day-by-day breakdown of what we did.  We'd really love to hear what you have to say about these pages, and hope you enjoy looking them over as much as we did in making them.

In addition to all the other pictures you find on these pages, we also stitched together a few panoramic views.  In some situations, it wasn't possible to capture the full spectacle of the view.  If you click on each of the images below, a new window will come up which lets you scroll side to side in the browser, making it a little more like what we saw by turning our heads from side to side.

Here's the view from the second level of the Eiffel Tower

A view from the top of the Pantheon in Paris

And here are two related views from the hill up and behind the Castle
at Neuschwanstein
